We are currently hiring currently hiring a Performance Engineer for one of leading on‑demand financial management, human capital management and student information system software vendor
You will be designing and developing solutions to enhance performance and scalability, creating benchmarks for performance evaluation, and building diagnostic tools to identify and address performance issues.
The primary responsibilities include analyzing product/service performance across various hardware and software configurations, devising accurate performance comparison methodologies, identifying bottlenecks in code/design/architecture, resolving performance problems, developing performance workloads, creating performance benchmarks, automating performance measurement and data analysis, developing performance diagnostics tools, collaborating with customers/partners to resolve performance issues, and formulating performance test strategies, scripting, and root cause analysis.

This is a long term extendable contract role stating with length of more than 6 Months with good per day rate.50% Hybrid @ Dublin
What we're looking for:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in performance measurement and analysis.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work well in a team.
- Proficiency in performance test tools such as JMeter, Grinder, AWS Taurus, etc.
- Solid background in computer architecture and operating system internals.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, C, Java, etc.
Basic Qualification:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Performance Engineering or strong scripting automation background.
- Experience in bench-marking applications, system modelling under load, and technology stack tuning.
- Proficiency in working with Distributed Systems, Java, J2EE, and Databases.
Other Qualifications:
- Experience in automation, performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.
- Knowledge of developing automation for performance use cases through tools like Bamboo or Team City.
- Experience in testing full stack software, including UI, API, or database layers.
- Familiarity with Scrum practices like stand-ups and sprint planning using Jira.
- Attention to detail and deep understanding of engineering standard methodologies.
