This role will be in a fast-paced logistics environment.
We are looking for TWO fulltime permanent courier van drivers to be part of our team. This position requires starting early morning and working on some Saturdays.
You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours/week and maximum 45.
Qualification/Work Experience
No qualification necessary. 0-3 months previous similar experience preferred but training will be provided to a fresher.
You will be required to have a DRIVING LICENCE that allows you to drive in New Zealand.
You must be willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Drug Test, if requested.
You must have a clean criminal conviction (MoJ) test.
Your daily tasks will include-
- Ensure that your vehicle is in excellent running condition at all times. This includes checking oil, filters, headlights, fasteners, air pressure, RUC, WOF dates, etc.
- Ensure that vehicles are used properly.
- Inform the fleet manager in case any paperwork has expired or any repairs needed.
- Follow health and safety requirements strictly, at all times.
- Process inward and outward goods and parcels, unpacking and loading vans.
- Timely and efficient collection and delivery of freight.
- Maintain ODO meter readings and other delivery records as required.
- Assisting with checking wrongly addressed, undelivered, missorted, redirected parcels and freight.
You must be a New Zealand Citizen/ Resident or on a Valid Visa and able to work full time.
