A day in the life of a Day/Night Receptionist
06:45 You arrive, in uniform, with a cup of coffee in the back office, your colleague from the night shift does the handover, you note the action points.
07:00 You start with your checklist and are ready to provide a service with a heartfelt smile for the guests checking out.
08:00 You have checked today's arrivals and communicated special details to the Desk Manager and other departments.
10:00 Between phone calls, you handle incoming emails and work your way through the 'morning rush'.
12:00 Enjoy your lunch with colleagues from other departments.
13:00 You check whether there are still guests who need to check out and continue with your checklist until it is finished.
14:00 You prepare the handover for the evening shift, start counting the cash register, and make sure all tasks are done.
14:45 The evening shift has arrived, and you attend the handover.
15:00 Time to go home!
